New Sebastopol Geese Photos

Gee you guys are so nice with your praise! (blush)
I can't take credit for all of them since I'm not the
breeder of all the geese in the photos but I'm trying
to get a collection of really nice foundation birds and
breed for betterment of the breed.
It takes a lot of breeding and culling and since I do this
on a small basis its going to take years but I'm working
on it and having a ball.

Jean if you want to get on the list for fall youngsters please
send me an email.

Thanks again all!

I have Peter, my "poofy" gander with 2 smooth breasted ladies and Kasper, another "poofy" gander with 1 smooth breasted and one "poofy" lady.

I'm hoping for some nice Sebbies!

Laurie...I have a very smooth saddleback gander and his curly kids look awesome
so if your birds click genetically it can happen.
I have a friend who even got a very nice curly offspring out of 2 smooth parents.
See my colored Sebastopol page for photos of my smooth ganders kids.

Absolutely gorgeous!! I didn't have a problem with purchasing smooth Sebbies because I knew that breeding them with the curly ones would produce curly kids. I'm excited to see the results this year, my first year breeding them.

As always, your birds are stunning!

Yup when the snow and ice melts its poop soup around here.
My barn isle ends up under water for awhile.

We're lucky though, our soil is sandy loam and the melt water drains off fast in the spring.
Counting the days til spring!
Goslings will start hatching out the first of April!
