They could have the same dad, but they have different mommies.

The female, I can tell, is going to be a very nice bird. She is going to have a nice round body and rounded forhead.

I hope to sell my eggs, but the girls have really slacked off, I hope they start up again. A couple are trying to set.

You can do line breeding which means a father/daughter or mother/son and it can still be OK, but brothers and sisters are too close in the gene pool. With Sebs that can lead to wing deformities, like angel wing.

so, if a goose lays, for example, 10 eggs before sitting...are they all from the same male (like a litter of pups?) or is each egg fertilized separately? I ordered my eggs and she doesn't know if the eggs come from the same parents or not...what should I do?

I also ordered separate eggs from someone else, so maybe when they hatch I shoudl keep one from each batch to avoid relatives, what do you think ?

I really hope to hatch mine...I am getting more and more nervous as times goes by...but also very excited...
