Nope. Yep, way off....Typical mfg BS...they use factory farm specs.Is my set up big enough for 8 birds? Manufactor says coop will hold 12-15 birds but that seems off to me.

I wouldn't put more than 4 birds in a 4x6 in your climate.
You could build a heck of a coop for $1800!!
Yes we can, but we are building a new home and will be moving in 1 year, so I wanted something mobile. My gut feeling is we will have more than one coop .

I ended up getting a bigger coop, and we are setting up fencing for free rangin.Your set up is big enough for 8 but does not allow for any further additions, since you mentioned possibly wanting more.
If your dream flock is 10, build for 15, etc.
