New Set up advice

Is my set up big enough for 8 birds? Manufactor says coop will hold 12-15 birds but that seems off to me.
4 x 6 coop from Shedman.
Nope. Yep, way off....Typical mfg BS...they use factory farm specs.
I wouldn't put more than 4 birds in a 4x6 in your climate.
You could build a heck of a coop for $1800!!

I am employed at Storey Publishing in the design department and have worked on many of our chicken books but now I am jumping in with both feet.
Designing the book layouts or designing actual coops/animal housing?

im gonna need a biggar coop
Indeed! :D

Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Yes we can, but we are building a new home and will be moving in 1 year, so I wanted something mobile. My gut feeling is we will have more than one coop . 😜

It all depends on one's budget, you can have your chickens live in a lavish mansion or like mine, roofing and walls on it's last legs looking like one of those abandoned destroyed houses in Detroit that you can purchase for fiddy dollars.

Your set up is big enough for 8 but does not allow for any further additions, since you mentioned possibly wanting more.

If your dream flock is 10, build for 15, etc.
I ended up getting a bigger coop, and we are setting up fencing for free rangin.
