These 20 babies were hatched by Sylvia..a Cochin hen.

Funny to hear someone else other then a silkie did the broody thing.

Yeah..surprised me too. The girls are laying so many eggs that I put two of my broody Cochins to work. Both of them went broody on one egg..so I added 21 to Sylvia, and 20 to Splash. So Splash will be giving me more babies next week. Sylvia hatched all 21 Silkie eggs..but I lost one baby. Her own egg that she went broody on doesn't seem to be any good..but I will see what happens with that.

Buried in Silkies!! Gotta love that!! But sadly...some will have to find new homes.
