New Silkie/Cochin Chicks!

Waiting for the DNA test results but what do y’all think? Pullets or Cockerels?
I have my guesses but want to see what y’all think.

Love them!!
I can’t wait for my satin to go broody, or I might just get an incubator. I just want to get more satins too! Lol

I'm impatiently waiting for mine to start laying. They are still pullets, only two Satins are actually laying, so unfortunately not enough to get my incubator started, so I just throw them under a broody hen. Luckily, I almost always have at least one hen brooding between my Cochins and Silkies/Satins.

The results are in
Tournaline(#1) is in fact a Cockerel!
Opal (#2) & Onyx (#3) are both Pullets!
I unfortunately don’t have space for any other Roo so I won’t be keeping Tourmaline.

Broody Hens!
One of the Silkies, Sapphire, & my Satin, Diamond, are both broody. If all goes well we should have chicks hatched by the 22nd.

Out of my keepers, I only have Diamond left.
Unfortunately we had an incident with Hawks when the chicks were about 4 months old and she was the lone survivor of her siblings.
She is now 8 months old and just recently started laying.

She's just beautiful!

I currently have 3 broody silkies and my satin Diamond broody. Chicks should start hatching this weekend.

Here are some pictures of the young ones. The two pullets and the showgirl Silkie are 7 weeks old. The bigger one is 3-4months old. I’ll be having the showgirl and bigger one dna tested soon hopefully.

I really wanna get a lil cochin to breed with my satin n silkies to create like the most fluffy little full feathered leg/foot chick then add in some d'uccle to get those full cheeks n beard!!!
But I gotta wait atleast 6 months! So here's to watching YO babies!
