New silkie mom question about introducing my silkie

I just got this guy last week I have turkeys geese chickens and ducks that free range during the day and sleep separately at night. I have noticed a pecking order but he holds his own and isn’t getting beat up. The problem is all my birds ignore him and he seems to be a loner. I barely started letting him be outside during the day and he sleeps in the house at night because I’m worried that my other chickens might beat him up. Am I just worrying to much. I plan on getting more chicks in spring. Which comes to another question what is more ideal ordering eggs or buying chicks.

You should worry. He's a stranger. It's best he stays by himself for now. It's safer. He will eventually work his way into the flock. Don't force it.
