single comb i know but just a pet

How old are they?

I think #2 is a hen. #1 is tough. If it's older than 4 months than I say hen.

They both look like hens to me with their stances. It's difficult to tell by their combs at this age.

It's so hard to tell with young Silkies. I usually tell people to wait 'till they're 6 months old-the ones that lay eggs are female.

there are 4 chicks in the pictures if that helps there are 2 white, one red and a partridge? maybe.
