Spring Cleaning for the Board.
Hey Every One! Happy New Year! I've been absent for a couple months and have desperately missed my BYC Peafowl fix. I opened a new Gift Store in November and have been working my tail off ! (Ha! little peafowl joke there) Sales were great, the economy is not dead and I'm a happy camper.
How would every one feel about starting some fresh threads under Peafowl? All the topics have gotten kinda merged, so some great information is getting lost. Can we start a few fresh threads labeled " Medicating Peafowl 2014" " Feeding Peafowl 2014", "Sick Peafowl Questions 2014", Peafowl Housing, Raising Baby Peas 2014, Peafowl Varieties, and of course.... the ever popular topic "Sexing Peafowl" I don't want to step on any toes, but It would be great to then copy and paste some of the pertinant info from older threads back up front onto the New Fresh threads- so its readily available again.
Those thread titles are just ideas- feel free to edit or add.
I don't frequent the board enough to charge ahead and do this myself- so thought I would run it by you, the group. ....just thinkin.... Miss Molly
Sounds great to me as long as we don't have to start a new show off your peas thread, there are tons of pretties from everyone in this thread and i would hate to see it buried , the other show off your peas thread got buried when this one started but it was missing alot of photos so this one got started last new years i believe.![]()
We really do need some stickies in our peafowl forum, there is so much good info scattered threw out and if it could be divided into categories like you suggested it would be real helpful, so how do we make this happen as far as stickies go?
I think you prepare you "sticky" then use the report flag and explain why/where you want it.I believe that if you want to add new topics under the existing Peafowl "Stickies" index, you need to get in touch with a BYC administrator.
You're so smart, lol, thanks! Here's where you make member pages: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/0/Member_Pages
