New (suprise) Cayuga owner, need resources

Awesome info guys, I really appreciate it. Sorry for the belated thanks but between the ducks and my 1 year old there isn't a lot of time for typing.

I got my pen off of craigslist, there were a bunch at varying prices - I paid 40 and then another 20 or so for materials to further predator proof it. The wire all needed replaced as the gaps were too big, I also moved the side areas out and installed hinges on top so I could open the sides straight up. Next up is to redo the roof with a full hinge so I can open it also. It is probably easier to start with something and enhance it than start from scratch. Just make sure you are beginning with good bones.

They seem to be use to me now and move about the yard much more when I am in it, otherwise they are just like sitting between their pen and the fence. Same as above, just looking for calmness with people around - I think things will be just fine on this front as they will only get more accustomed to me.

Next up is a pond / pool for them using ideas from other threads on here. Will probably go with a plastic kiddie pool with an added drain and rock around the outside.

Very nice. Forty bucks isn't too bad for a good fence. You are wise to predator proof! I just had a grey fox climb my six-foot fence and jump in, so that I suddenly realized a top is a necessity for a fence!
That's good that they're becoming tame. Do you just try to move slowly around them and not chase them? I think that's what I need to do with mine to make them more tame.
Plastic kiddie pools are good. I just got one today for my ducks and they LOVED it! I'm sure yours will too if that's what you decide on!
