Hi!! I just joined recently too! My coop is half-built, mostly with free/recycled materials. I have four chicks hanging out in the kitchen, just waiting for it to be finished. They are only 2 weeks old now. 1 barred rock, 1 buff orp, 1 gold laced wyandotte, 1 blue Cochin (the youngest and a bit weak today). A few more weeks from now and I should be posting about putting my girls out in their coop for their first night!! I'm getting ready to start thinking about their first treats and supervised visits to the yard

About me: Teacher in Minneapolis, living with a roommate: between the two of us there are a boxer mix, a pug, two curious cats and now....4 chicks!!
