New to all this!

All of that seems ok ... I will check again tomorrow though in the light. If all of that is ok, could it be that I am making something out of nothing?

Its hard to say. Ducks coughing almost always means something wrong.. unless of course they are eating. Mine always seem to choke and cough on their food. Check her over in the morning. See if she's still wheezing and what not.

She doesn't seem to be coughing when I am around - but I can't be with her all the time.. I was wondering if the clear fluid coming from her nostrils could be from her drinking right before - bc I haven't noticed it again until just now after they went for their first swim of the day..??

Then it might of been nothing. I'd try to catch her in between swims and see if there is any clear liquid or if it was indeed just water. I know that's a hard task lol it seems like mine are never out of the water.

Daphne seems to be doing really good... I did notice a "cough" this morning but my husband thinks is sounds more like a sneeze... So it seems to be only in the early morning hours that I notice this... And it could be after eating, I'm not sure what they are doing before I check on them...
Is it normal for the ducks to have clear fluid/water from their nostrils after swimming and drinking? I have noticed it after those activities today. We have 3 geese that my husband takes care of and he said it is normal for them to have that going on after drinking water. And I do remember it when they were little...

Yes that's normal. Its just the water that hasn't dried up yet.

So I decided to take Daphne to the vet bc she has continued coughing... The vet checked for parasites and it was negative but she said that it could have been a false negative bc it doesn't always show up :/ so she said the next thing would be to treat for a bacterial infection with some antibiotics and see if she improves... I hate all the guess work :( but I don't know what else to do. My question is this: is it best to keep her separated from the others? We started to keep her separate but she was so stressed out I thought maybe it would be better to let her out with the others-stress can't be good, right? So right now they are all playing in the yard, swimming and foraging happily. Any thoughts?

Hmm if it is an infection you will want to keep her separate so she don't spread it to the others. I know she will be stressed out but its for the best until you can figure out what is wrong with her
