New to all this

Hello. I am new to this site and finally got my own chickens. I grew up spending lots of time gathering eggs and playing with the animals when I was a kid and finally got 3 of my own. I don't know to much about them but I learn as I go and research if I give them a new treat or find something odd. I had a quick question about one of my chickens whom I think is more then likely a rooster. He is the sweetest most friendly, beautiful and full feathered bird of the three but instead picked up crowing at 8am every morning. I would love a little help from someone to comfirm him being a rooster cause I did read hens can crow? He sounds like a drowning old lady sorry for the choice of words. He's 10 and a half week Jersey Giant and I have had them since they were 4days old.

Yes, he looks like a lovely rooster. Hens sometimes can crow but it's very uncommon and if it does happen, it mostly happens in bantams.

Looks like a boy to me, and with more practice he will sound like a rooster.
