New to backyard birds. Looking for something exotic!

I have my hens free range around my yard and they do fine. Moderns are very friendly and easy to tame. The roosters are gorgeous and from my experience very calm. The downside is they can be talkative (not as annoying as my d'Uccle but they do have voices).

Thanks for all the suggestions! The Malays, Shamos, and Modern Games are pretty cool for their body shape. I also like the Polish, Silkies, and Crevecoeurs for their crazy looks. Maybe I'll get a mixed flock and see how that goes. Hehe, maybe even eventually sneak an emu or peafowl chick into the mix and see how they behave themselves, eh?
