New to Backyard Chicken

Hi I am from Wichita Ks ... New to the Chickens and Ducks... Lovin it ) I have 10 Bantam hens, 1 East Indie drake (looking for a couple hens), and 6 five day old Black Swedish/ White Crested ducklings )... trying to learn all I can

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I lived in northern Kansas for a short while and was there during one of worst winters in Kansas history (30 F below zero). The good news is that with a dry and draft free coop, my Black Australorp flock did just fine, even without supplemental heating. Sounds like you have a nice flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute.
