new to backyard chickens from indianapolis indiana

Hey my name is teresa I was told about this place by kathlene. I am still learning how to manuver my way around any advice would be helpfull. I am starting my own coop this week. I have always had chickens growing up and figured its time to get going now that I have settled into indy. I know the basics and am always looking to learn more. I think I will like this site.

I live in Hagerstown, IN. East of you along I-70. I haven't been here all that long either. I just stared with new chicks last November. I'd suggest starting out with the index of the areas you want to know about (i.e new chicks, coops, etc). I'm up to the laying part now. You can also use the search box at the top of the page to find what you want to know about.
