Hello Everyone,
My name is Steven and I enjoy raising Chickens / Fowls. I am 46 years old and I live in SC. I have several Chicken Breeds and enjoy Incubating eggs. I started about 2 years ago.

Glad you could join the flock! What breed/s do you have? I too love incubating and hatching eggs. Nothing quite like watching a new life emerge from the egg. I've not had my incubator on for a few months now and I've got itchy fingers. It's looking very lonely packed away in its box.

Hi Steven, very nice to meet you. Your farm is a who's who of chicken breeds - great. I see you don't have Showgirls, a variety of silkie (silkie x turken) I believe from that ONE cross you do not need to breed back to turkens. Of course the folks on the "Showgirl thread," would have more accurate information.

I have bought some Turkens just for that reason. I should have show girls next year.
