I'm brand new to chickens - I've had my chicks for only a few weeks at this point.
I have 8 chicks - 3 Golden Laced Wyandottes and 5 Ameraucanas.. All pullets.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? - I have friends that have chickens and they are just full of personality, so smart and just fun to sit and watch.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? We have horses and I love to do anything outdoors - working with the animals just makes it more fun.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. - I'm in healthcare IT so my animal distractions are very welcome.. and necessary. We have 4 horses, 5 dogs and a couple of barn kitties that do a great job.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I was Googling 'chicken coop plans' and found your site. Being new to this, the more information - the better.
