Hi! My name is Jeremy and my girlfriend (Kayla) and I are new to raising chickens. We have four hens that we picked up as day old chicks back in late April. We have a buff orpington, speckled sussex, frizzle cochin, and a blue laced red wyandotte.

I've spent the last few months working on a huge chicken run and coop for them, and we just moved them outside for the first time yesterday. I've always liked the idea of farming and being self sufficient on my own land, and I'm excited for all the fresh eggs we'll be getting in the near future.
