New to backyard chickens

We have three australorps for 6 weeks now. We love them! So much fun to watch. They're about 28 weeks old. We have two inside cats who enjoy watching "chicken TV" all day
Their names are Princess Laya, Red, and Brunhilda. They each have their own unique personality. We plan to get three more( maybe chicks, not sure if we are brave enough) in the spring!
BackYard chickens is a wealth of information! So glad I found this site!

Personally, I have found the Topic of the Week articles a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group. There are some discussions on integration.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
