Hi ya all! My name is Vanessa. I am new to this forum. I am from Coalinga, CA.
I currently have: 2 Rhoade Island reds 1.5 year olds, 2 Americanas 3 years old.
New additions a week ago from tractor supply: 2 Americanas, 1 Black Brahma, and 1 California White.
We started out 4 years ago with Buff Orpingtons. We had them for a year laying eggs. We think our first one died of egg bound. The second one died along with a few rhoad island reds from a german shepard ambush last thanksgiving. Which put us down to 4 whom were lucky to survive.
Now trying to figure out why my new chick california white is fat and popping alot. Normal poop too. Eats alot and sleeps. Contemplating taking back to tractor supply. Waiting to see if it is a cornish x chicken or just needs a diet and exercise.
