New to BYC! 😄🐔🐓🐣🐤🐥

Hi everyone I Am brand new to Backyard chickens I figured I would just sign up I always read the threads! Lol I am a first time chicken owner I have four girls two of them just started laying eggs and the other two will start within the next couple weeks. We live in Arizona and my girls are only partially free range because of all of the desert predators that want to eat them . Our Coop leader is a leghorn Maran mix, 2nd in command is an easter egger, 3rd is another easter egger, and 4th is a skittish buff Orpington.

Thats a great idea! I'm sure they would love that! Especially when it gets really hot. They already love playing in water so hopefully that will get them through their first summer here! ☀ thank you for the welcome!

I might also suggest little lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cold DrPepper for them as well. That's what my hens get!

They could probably use a fan too! I have a barn fan for mine in the summer and I live in Minnesota.
