Hi Chipmunk chicks and welcome. I hope you adore your ducklings as mush as I do mine. I had no idea! They're hilarious and they think I'm their Mom! Already, they come running whenever I put my hand down into their pool. I'm not sure what I'll do when they're bigger and their bills begin to really hurt when they peck at my hand (the skin actually).

Boppo, thanks for the welcome. For you and any other experienced folks with ducks, I wonder if you have any comments about one of them digging to get the zeolite I sprinkled in the bottom of their pen for odor control. Do you think this can hurt him?

Will do. I know it's early to have them outside but on sunny warm days I've been taking them into the back yard and teaching them about grasses (they LOVE tiny bits of plantain) and bugs. So far they have eaten a couple ants, a small beetle and a mosquito. I'm so happy about the bugs, as I'm hoping some day, they will rid my yard of them! I feel like I need to introduce them, the way mom would.
