In the Brooder
Hello!
We live in central Alberta, Canada and have a flock of six laying hens; two Plymouth Rocks, one Rhode Island Red, one Buff Orpington, and two unknowns. We got started last spring and found this site very helpful for getting ourselves set up. We’ve recently moved everyone over to their winterized coop in the barn and are adjusting to the colder, shorter days.
Beyond the daily eggs, we really enjoy our chickens and find them endlessly endearing and entertaining.
Looking forward to learning from the pros and becoming better informed to care for our flock!
Thanks for reading,
N&C
