My children and I have always enjoyed hatching chicks each spring, but this is the first time we will try to keep some long term. I can't identify rooster/ hen so I came here for help (since I've never posted, hopefully I can figure out how to upload photos of the birds in question). I think what really concerns me is that I think 3 or 4 are actually roosters!! Plymouth Rock (mostly). Fairly sure my two Buff Orpingtons are hens. And I have a new batch in the incubator now, hoping for more hens!! This time half Buff Orpington and half either Easter Egger or Lavender Orpingtons.

It sounds like you have a nice flock! You can post pictures in What Breed or Gender is This? and folks there should be able to help you out.
