New to BYC forum, and to Chicken ownership!

So it rained one day when we were visiting the lake, so to keep the kids from being bored, we visited the Co-Op.

Now, we have 4 little chicks(pullets), one for each family member we hope to raise for eggs:

1 Red Cross named Nugget
1 Barred Rock named Nightie
2 Americaunas named Tiger and General Tsao

The girls are about 3 weeks old now, and we are designing and building our own run and then a coop. For now, they reside in a large dog carrier in the garage.

And, as you will come to find once you've had a chance to do a little research, your "Ameraucanas" are actually Easter Eggers...great birds! But I don't want you to get a tongue lashing from one of us Ameraucana breeders! LOL
