This is my first flock, which I'm starting out small. I have 4 chickens. 2 I know are Rhode Island reds and the other 2 are "red pullets" but one of them is way bigger that the others. Makes me wonder, hmmm? I glad to be here.

Hello, I started my first flock about 4 weeks ago. I am not possitive what type of chicks they are but I posted a picture of them earlier today and some said they might be Golden Comets. We are working on building the coop for the chicks but for now they are set up in my kitchen. I can't wait till someone ask if I live in a barn, because I can give them a firm YES!
It is good to see some newbies on here, thought I might be the only one with a ton of questions...

Awesome!!! I've always wanted a barn home :D

Were your chicks from a hatchery? They don't breed for show quality - they can be an assortment of sizes, colors etc. all purportedly to be the same breed. Or maybe the chicks are from a mix of breeds.
