I am new to chickens and first got mine last week. I have 5 chickens currently. I have 3 silkies and 2 unknown bantam breeds. I have always wanted chickens mainly as pets but won't mind the bonus of eggs. I love hiking, anything that involves nature and animals, and hanging out with my dogs. I am married to an amazing man, have 4 dogs - 2 pitbulls and 2 chihuahuas, a cat, 2 birds, a turtle, fish and now 5 chickens which I'm sure I'll be adding more to the flock soon! I am a vet tech and a groomer. I'd love any chicken advice anyone can give! I found BYC on pintrest and have been following for probably over a year.
