I am on BYC numerous times a day so finally decided to become a member! This is my first chicken adventure. I have 13 hens in my coop and they are about 5 weeks old. I have them for layers and pets only! I am so thankful for BYC since I get most of my questions answered here!
Hello and thank you!! I have 13 "ladies" right now that are about 5 weeks old. I started with 23 but thought it was too many for my coop so I sold 10 to a friend and am enjoying my smaller group. I have 4 silver laced wyandottes, 4 buff orpingtons, 2 americaunas and 3 black australorps. I also have 2 holland lop bunnies, that the "Easter Bunny" brought my 2 little boys this year, living in the coop. They all seem to be getting along great!! I hope it stays that way!
