Best of luck with your birds. You can call the lady at the PO back and she may be able to tell you where they are, based upon the tracking number. PO employees see more detail than we do. They may be on a later distribution truck heading to your local PO, or your district might use a special carrier to handle priority express. Even if you don't get them until tomorrow morning they should still be okay. What do you have for food and drink for them? If memory serves, Metzer ships with a cup or two of gro-gel to keep them sustained during the trip. If you have sav-a-chick or similar vitamin additive, I would offer both vitamin water and clean water.

@rjohns39 i did everything you said and I actually wound up getting a lot more tracking info. I’ll post more about it later. Right now we’re going to the store to buy more supplies for the babies.

Yes success stories are awesome. When I was in that waiting period, I was just reading positive posts as much as possible to try to keep hope alive. There’s a lot of really sad stories but then there’s the happy ones too lol

Oh I already have gotten so much out of this forum - when to let them bathe, what treats to feed them, brooder tips, introducing them to other pets. Googling was stressful and then I came here and specifically asked the questions I needed answers to and got them right away!

I agree! Sometimes Google will direct you here and other times you're reading someone experience on their blog but doesnt pertain to you. BYC is so helpful and even when you cant get the answer you're looking for, there's so many knowledgeable people who are willing to help if they can.
I mainly use the BYC search but be careful posting in older threads where the thread starter is no longer an active member. We call those zombie threads
