Hello, my name is Tyson.

I am new to BYC. I have recently moved on to five acres in Wake County. I live in Fuquay Varina, and I am hoping to get chickens this Spring. My husband and I have much to learn about BYC, but we are ready. We are also considering beehives, and maybe some peafowl. We are very excited to be part of the BYC community. We welcome any feedback.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you joined the flock! If you have any questions feel free to ask. I can definitely help you with info on peafowl all you have to do is ask. Please be specific with the questions that way I don't post an essay because I can go on forever about peafowl. What breed are you looking for with chickens.

Hello Tyson!
400

Welcome to BYC and the coop! There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around BYC.

Hi Tyson and welcome to BYC. It seems like you have busy and exciting times ahead - good for you! Theres also been a thread recently on keeping bees, so evidently some BYCers are into bees and maybe able to help you out on that also.

What chickens breeds are you planning for?

All the best

Nice to meet you Tyson, Welcome to Backyard chickens. If you go to the "Other Backyard Poultry " forum above you will find information on peafowl, etc.
