Hi everyone we are new members to BYC. I just finished our chicken coop. And going to get our first chicken's (chicks) any recommendations on chick feed.

I personally mix my medicated chick feed with a bit of lay mash. I find having those babies on the medicated makes them often times get pasty butt. The little bit of mash mixed in really helps with that, and they are getting their medicated feed for a while. :) Have fun with those babies!

Glad you joined us over here! A good quality chick starter for the first few weeks. You can give them a medicated starter, which has a small amount of amprolium added. This is a thiamine blocker, which helps prevent coccidiosis. Note: helps prevent.
