Hi
New to NYC but hoping for guidance on raising my recently hatched chicks. They're a mixture from hybrid bovines, Cream legbars and a hamburg hen.
My cockerel is like a brahma/ameraucana mix. Young roo just about 18 months old. Fairly new to my flock a couple of months or so. He is very active and has been from the start so thought I would see if he was fertile. Incubated 11 eggs from which I had 8 live chicks. Unfortunately two put down due to leg deformities so six surviving. Now coming up to three weeks old and they are a delight to watch.
I am hoping in the future to breed some rare breed chickens so am off to buy my own incubator today.
That's my roo...Charlie...
