Hello BYC community 
I am new here and I hope to meet and chat with alot of great people. I have owned backyard chickens for 11yrs. Had started out with 3, 2 Americaunas and 1 black Austrolaup. Lost one, gained one, a Silver laced polish. Then we lost another and was left with 2. Recently lost our oldest, sweetest girl, Pearl, the black austrolaup. Darn coons
Anyways, just acquired some chicks and look forward to seeing them full grown and the eggs. I think one of them is a rooster, unfortunately. Anyways, look forward to meeting and chatting with you folks.
My very first question I do have is that I am looking for a chicken sitter in NE Portland area. Heading out of town during eclipse. Can anyone out there help?
