It takes time to adjust to a new location, so give yourself a chance to get used to things. About 15 months ago I moved from FL to WY and know big changes can be kind of overwhelming.

I do hope you enjoy the chickens! They can be a lot of fun and are interesting.

I understand the change... We're about two years into ours. Enjoy your chickens, hook up with BYC folks in your area and have fun on the garden threads.

We could be twins! LOL We too relocated 1,800kms to be with my FIL and sold and gave away a lot of stuff. I did, however, fly my chickens to our new home. I too love gardening and while not working on anything at the moment, crochet. Currently I am doing a cross stitch.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.
