New to BYC!

HOWDY Y'ALL! I live near Houston, Texas. I've been raising chickens off and on for many years. In the past, I was a breeder and exhibitor in many shows with my Black Tailed White Japanese bantams and Salmon Faverolle breeds.
As you can probably tell by my handle "squared ants" I enjoy square dancing and I am a square dance caller. I also enjoy growing orchids. My full time job is in the agricultural field. I live alone with my little dog Prissy. I look forward to sharing some of my knowledge with others and learn some things myself on this site.
