Welcome to BYC!! So happy you've joined our flock! Very exciting starting your own homestead! 5 acres is perfect for spreading out and raising some animals! If you're not a fan of mowing, you could always add some geese

The key to everyone getting along is having the space and you look like you've got that a-plenty. Just fabulous. No more boys, but I can see you adding to your flock very soon. Is having too many chickens even a thing?

I had 2 ducks but a fox got them

My first egg... and they are only 14 weeks. It looks like one of my orpingtons laid it. But my cornish cross has now made a home under my porch and wont come out!!! So I'm confused.

So I separated the cornish from the others and guess what??? Its my cornish laying eggs. Lol
