Thanks everyone! The research definitely helped me have an idea of where to start, I also attended a couple local flock swaps to check it all out. Attending those couple helped me to decide that I wanted to start with newly hatched chicks and prompted me to order the night after the 2nd one... I ordered from the assortments that Meyers offered to have a variety. It has been a guessing game as to what arrived.
