hi! I am super exited to be a part of BYC! I have had chickens for as long as I can remember, and absolutely love my ladies (and some gentlemen). I have a flock of 35 chickens composed of Delaware's, gold laced Wyandotte's, Americana's, and a bunch of hybrids as a result of incubating our own eggs. I love learning about chickens and how their lives work

I think it is fascinating how a egg can grow into a adorable baby chick (I have personally witnessed this phenomenon) and watch over them every step of the way. ever so frequently I have a question about my chickens that my books cant answer so I google it on my laptop. every time I do this I see the BYC website. I never thought of joining until I had a chicken get sick and need some sort of personal reference... this is when I had someone advise me join the BYC
