Definitely not new to chickens. Personally, I've kept a flock for 15 years and my mother and grandfather before me.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I recently butched my old spent hens, currently have 16 in the brooder, and 50 cockerels on the way.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Dominiques.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I farm for a living, but there doesn't seem to anything as entertaining and relaxing as chickens at the end of the day.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Brewing, quilting, meat goats, honeybees, reloading, hoppin' on the harley, and small engine repair.
