Have you looked into converting a shed into a coop? You can buy a shed kit or look for someone selling a used shed and have it moved by a shed builder. Then you can integrate your hens with your pullets and have one flock instead of two with two coops.

My flock currently consists of 25 birds ranging in age from 5.5 weeks to 4.5 years with multiple ages in between. Everyone gets along just fine.
