Hello and welcome to BYC!
Some gentler breeds are Buff Orpingtons, Australorps, and Easter Eggers. There are many more though.
You may want to keep in mind that each chicken needs at least 4sq ft of coop space, 10sq ft of run space, 1ft of linear roost, and 1sq ft of ventilation. Also 1 nesting box per 3-4 hens.
