We got a mix of different breeds of chickens last spring. We have 7 hens in total, a few easter eggers, a buff orpington, a Red sex link, Sicilian buttercup, and a wyandotte. Our family has had chickens in the past and decided to get a flock again : ) Our 3 kids love hanging out with the chickens and helping to take care of them.

Welcome. Excellent that you have your kids involved. It is such a good lesson in responsibility.
