Hi everyone!! Long time lurker but new to posting here on BYC.
I raise chickens, ducks and turkey.
I’ve been raising ducks on and off for about 8yrs but am new to chickens and turkey.
We currently have 8 hens, RIR and ameraucana, use for eggs and I adore them, a ton of ducks: Muscovy, blue Swedish, Cayuga, and a few pekin and rouens that are pets and for eggs and 4 young turkey: broad breasted white? because why not??
Raising birds is so much work but equally as rewarding I feel. I’m constantly learning new things and being able to enjoy spending time with my family in the process.
We also have 2 and a quarter dogs: 2 German shepherds and a mini dachshund (he’s the quarter dog because he’s so tiny lol) and we have a bearded dragon, leopard gecko and a ball python.
I cannot wait to continue to learn from all of you

I've loved raising chickens and turkeys so I bet you will enjoy them like you have your ducks. Turkeys are so inquisitive, so just don't leave any parts like nuts and bolts to a project you are working on out where they they can get them.

I've got a 1/4 sized dog too (sometimes we call her an honorary cat.) I bet all your dogs are cute. I love GSDs.
