Diagonal and to the far south east! welcome! What kind of chickens do you have or want to have? or are you a bird of a different feather? duck, goose, peafowl? let us know!

i'm new to this, want get 2-3 egg layers (small yard). question: can chickens fly over a six foot fence? and besides thier daily food, what can chickens eat and not eat? thanx, terrym

I have heavy birds and they do not seem to fly much, but I had small chickens as a child, and they flew high enough! There are much more better informed people on here than me, so re-post and good luck! welcome to BYC!
