Hi Byc members.
My husband and I are just simple hobby farmers. We have always shared a love for chickens. This is our second time starting our flock. We bought a couple pair of old english bantams when the boys were younger. They lost interst so we sold them off. Now they are older and about to start leaving the nest and dad and I are looking for ways to fill our time. We currently have Blue Wheaten Old English Bantams, Black Tail White Japanese Bantams, One RIR Old English Bantam, Columbian Wyandottes, and different breeds of laying hens. I would like to get started showing my old english bantams just for fun. The girls just hatched out four new babies about the first of may. I think we got 1 wheaten female, 1 male wheaten, 1male blue wheaten , and 1 male sport. They are beautiful little birds. I found out about BYC because every search engine send us to you very informative. We also enjoy gardening and camping anything to do with nature. We also have dogs, cats, goats, gunies, call ducks, and a donkey. My husband and I have been married for 23 years and have two sons 22, and 19. I also currently work in one of the local day care centers in the toddler room.
