New to BYC

Hi all from Washington State! My wife and I are in the process of building a coop and should be
getting our chicks (5 Black Star, 5 Red Star) any day now. We both enjoy the BYC site and have been reading a lot of info as this will be our first time raising chickens.

! Happy you joined our community! I love the Red and Black Stars!! They have been the friendliest chickens I've owned. They also seem to have a competitive edge over the other chickens in their foraging ability - they are the best bug hunters in the group! They are also great layers.
