New to BYC

Good morning, I am a newbie to the BYC although I have been to the web site many times,and a newbie to raising chickens, we have 7 new chicks we got a week ago 2 New Hampshire reds, 2- barred rocks, 2- jersey giants and 1- Americana, we built a very nice and quite large brooder for them and we are still in the process of building the coop, they are all doing great and we are enjoying taking care of them , I have learned a lot on the site and I am very glad to be here.
