(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

We are new to chickens. My parents gave our girls a little chicken coop for Christmas (would house 2-4 chickens) My husband decided he wanted to get more the 4 so we are in the process of building a bigger coop and run :)

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

We will be getting our babies on Monday! Can't wait!!

(3) What breeds do you have?

We would like to get Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, Wyndottes, Americanas, Road Island Reds,

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

When we were looking for coop ideas we came across the BYC website. It has been very helpful.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

My husband enjoys, hunting, and wood working, I enjoy crafting and organizing :)

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

My husband and I have been married for 11 years. We have two girls, P is 9 and A 7. We have a yellow lab who is 3. My husband is an electrician and I Own my own business with Thirty-One. We are very excited to get our chicks and pick out their names :).... And I can't wait to decorate the coop ;-)
