I'm new to BYC, but not new to raising chickens. About 10 years ago I had 15 chickens and after about 5 years I lost them all over night to a predator . Lost interest for a 8 years. Then I was shopping at Tractor Supply and saw some chicks and my interest was reignited. Now have 21 Rhode Island Reds and 4 Golden Polish Top Knots. We redesigned the coop and yard to enclose the entire coop and yard. So I should have a better experience with the chickens. Would like to meet and read new chicken owners experiences and advise. Thanks. Terry
 
Nova. She is 5 years old and very intrigued in the chicks. I also have a 3 year old GSD ( Koda) who is also showing interested (not aggressive) behavior towards the chicks. Either way they are totally enclosed >
